Grandview Covenant Church is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Denomination.

This year at VBS the kids learned how to stand strong for God. After a light lunch was served the night began with Sing and Play Rock. From there kids would divide into groups and attend various stations including Imagination Station, Epic Bible Adventures, Tournament games or Chadders Royal Theatre. There was never a dull moment at Kingdom Rock. Midway through the night everyone would be served a snack at the King's Kitchen. The daily Bible point was reinforced in creative ways at each station. Day one we learned that God's love helps us stand strong and how David wrote about God's love. On the second day we learned how Modecai encouraged Esther to do the right thing and how family and friends help us to stand strong. The third day we learned that prayer helps us stand strong with the story of Nehemiah rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. On day four the story was about Jesus dying and coming back to life which taught us that trusting God helps us to stand strong. The Bible story on the last day was King Josiah following God's way which taught us that the Bible helps us to stand strong. Each day closed with the Fanfare Finale. Children from 3 years in age to those going into the 6th grade were welcome to attend.
